Christian’s backstory

Christian Schauf was raised to be an entrepreneur. Growing up in Wisconsin, he became used to working hard due to his childhood working on the family farm. He didn’t get to play little league or have play dates with friends. Although it didn’t seem fair at the time, that experience taught him that hard work pays off.

An avid outdoorsman, Christian loves hunting and fishing and felt boxed in by the highest paying job that he ever had marketing for an app developer. He was trying to figure out how to get out of that rat race when an idea occurred to him.

How did Uncharted Supply Co. get started?

Uncharted Supply Co. was started after Christian experienced a “blizzard” in Colorado that had highways shut down and motorists stranded on the side of the road. It got him thinking about emergency preparedness.

Most people are so used to being able to buy their way out of any situation. But what would happen if the system collapsed? He came to realize that those first 72 hours of a survival situation are the most crucial.

When he discovered that most emergency supply kits were insubstantial, he realized that he was in the unique situation to create a superior product. Christian had spent several years getting to know military personnel while performing for the troops in far flung military bases.

His first product, “The Seventy2” was reverse engineered to provide both organization and guidance in survival situations. This emergency kit is unlike any other and got its name from those first crucial 72 hours of survival. 95% of emergency situations are resolved in the first 72 hours, so surviving that time period can mean the difference between life and death.

What’s in the kit?

Are you curious about what is in the kit? Christian doesn’t keep this information as a trade secret, his mission is to educate people to survive any situation. You can check out the products on his website to get a list of items to build your own kit if you so choose. His website is also packed full of information about survival situations.
